What is Trivians?
Trivians is a daily live quiz with dozens of competitions in which real players compete concurrently for Trivian Tokens (TRIVIA). Players win TRIVIA with their knowledge by answering the questions correctly. The amount of prizes they win is determined by the number of competitors and the format of the game. In the Trivians app, you can compete in 4 different types of competitions: Single Player / Multiplayer competitions, VIP Competitions, and Free competitions that are open to everyone. By clicking on the competition info and registering now, you can find out the terms of participation for these competitions.
Check below for all competitions and rules. For competition details, you can check the Frequently Asked Questions.
User Account
Each user account is personal and is activated by assigning it to a mobile number. Your username or phone number is permanent and will not change after you register.
Unfortunately, power-ups, TRIVIA, and other game materials cannot be transferred between different user accounts.
Using multiple accounts is prohibited. It is against the rules for the same user to compete with more than one account, and if detected, their account will be suspended or permanently closed. As a result, you may lose everything in your account. The maximum number of accounts that can be opened using the same IP address are 3 users, to be able to play together with family members and/or friends. When the violation of our contest rules are detected, the account may be suspended or closed indefinitely.
Account sharing
Your user account is private and should not be shared with third parties. Sharing your user account with others for any reason may result in your account being permanently deleted. No Trivians employee will ask for your account login information. Do not share your account with others to avoid being victimized as a result of this situation.
Chat rules
Before and during the competition, you can use the chat window at the bottom of the screen to communicate with other players and help each other during the competition. Comments containing profanity, insults, offensive, threatening, obscene, harassment, racism, sexism, and other such language directed at other users or the competition may result in the shutdown of your account. Any comments or statements that violate the competition rules will result in the restriction or permanent closure of your account.
Emulators and Third-party software
Unfortunately, the use of Mobile/PC emulator type applications is not permitted in order to avoid unfair competition. Be informed that when you compete through such applications, you can lose your account.
Using any kind of third party software that may create unfair rivalry in competitions will result in the permanent closure of your account and the loss of your user account.
VPN
The use of VPN is against the rules as it has been identified that it is used to exploit competition rules. VPN software, which is found to be used to participate in competitions that vary regionally and obtain rewards in this way, is one of the third-party software programs that you should stay away from. Please remember that if it is discovered that you have participated in competitions using these methods, you may permanently lose your account.
Types of Competitions
Single Player / MultiPlayer
These are formats featuring relatively easy questions where you can play alone or against other players. These competitions, in which you can win TRIVIA, power-up, VIP tickets, and other surprises, are open to everyone, but there is a limited number of entries. Before the competition begins, make sure to register and follow the notifications.
VIP Competitions
These are competitions with fewer entries and larger prizes that you can win with a VIP ticket. Prizes and VIP ticket prices vary depending on the difficulty of the questions and the number of participants. There are numerous VIP competitions throughout the day in various formats and categories. Choose the a competition that best fits you and register. Competitions that you do not check-in on time and miss are non-refundable. Make sure to turn on your notifications to not miss the competition.
Free Competitions
There are several free competitions held every day. These competitions have different prizes and are open to everyone within the restrictions of the competition. You can check the details from the competition infos. Make sure to register and turn on your notifications so you do not miss the competition.
Competition formats
You can compete in Royale, Ladder, Station, True-False formats with various prize breakdowns.
Royale:
The competition, which is performed in 3-choice or TF (True-False) formats, typically continues until there is only 1 person left. There is no question limit. The last remaining participant or participants wins or shares the grand prize along with all other prizes.
Ladder:
All questions answered correctly, whether directly or through the use of a power-up, earn money. The prize amount set at the end of each question is shared equally among the participants who give the correct answer. Since the number of participants drops with each question, the amount of prize winnings is higher than in the previous question.
Station
Prizes are shared every 5 questions. The prize amount set at the end of every 5 questions is divided equally among those remaining in the competition. There are 10 and 20 question formats. Since the prize allocation window is wider, the amount of prizes won also tends to be higher.
True/False
Unlike other formats, there are 2 options, instead of 3. The question or proposition on the screen is answered by deciding whether it is true or false. Competition formats such as Royale, Stairs, and Station can also be played as DY. In this format, all power-ups from the 3-choice competitions are also valid.
Power-up and ticket competitions:
These are competitions in which users can participate without charge. Power-up and VIP tickets are won. The format can be with or without question limits. In competitions with unlimited questions, once there is a certain number of participants, the prize allocation is done and the competition comes to an end. In competitions with limited questions, all participants who answer all questions correctly are awarded a prize. There is a participation limit, just like in VIP competitions. Pre-registration is required.

When are the competitions held?

You can access the details of these competitions from the main screen of the app. Besides the dozens of competitions available in the daily program, there is also a "Single Player/MultiPlayer" option to compete whenever you want.
What is VIP?
VIP competitions have a limited number of participants and thus a higher amount/probability of winning. There are competitions in dozens of categories such as sports, history, geography, mathematics, cinema and literature. A "VIP ticket" is used to participate in the competitions. Each competition has a different entry ticket value due to variables such as format, participants, prize amount, etc. The bottom right-hand corner of each competition indicates how many tickets can be used in the respective competition. By clicking on the "Register" button, you can participate in any competition you wish. Before signing up, be sure to check the competition details.
Answer Time
The time required to answer the question on the screen is 12 seconds in 3-choice competitions and 10 seconds in 2-choice True-False format. Participants are required to answer during this time. Last second answers may not be recognized by the system depending on your internet or device speed. So it is better not to leave it to the last second.
VIP ticket
A VIP ticket is required to participate in paid (VIP) competitions. You can purchase VIP tickets in the Market section. Also you can earn VIP tickets when you participate in competitions with ticket prizes and answer all the questions correctly. With the notifications available in the competition info, you can find out the VIP ticket participation fee applicable to the relevant competition.
Power-up
You can use your power-ups to gain an advantage in both paid and free competitions. The usage limits for power-ups vary depending on the competition and format. There are competitions in which each power-up can be used once, twice, or indefinitely, as well as competitions without power-ups. Participants can use the information in the competition info to determine the status of power-up usage in the relevant competition.
Power-ups:
Power-ups give you an advantage when you don't know the answer or are unsure. There are three types of power-up models.
Extra Life power-up: Even if the user answers the question incorrectly, he/she advances to the next round.
Double Answer power-up: The user can select two options, increasing the chance of giving the correct answer.
Purchasing and refunding
By clicking on the Market icon from within the app, you can purchase power-ups, VIP tickets, and other materials from the App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei Gallery. You can also use your accumulated account balance to purchase power-up/VIP tickets. Purchases made with your in-game (Redeem) balance are not refundable. If any irregular use is detected in purchases and refunds made from your user account, the relevant amount will be charged and your account will be permanently closed. For this reason, we advise you not to share your user information or account with others.
Prize distribution
Depending on the number of participants or the format, each competition offers a different amount of prizes. Prize amounts vary depending on the competition formats and content mentioned above. As soon as the competition is over, the prizes earned begin to be credited to user accounts and are completed within a few minutes. After a 24-hour technical control period, the earned prizes will be reflected in your total winnings. For more information, see the Frequently Asked Questions.
Earnings:
When you win more than 500 TRIVIA Tokens in a competition, you can transfer the Tokens in your account to your personal digital wallet account. The transfer transaction fee is 5 TRIVIA Tokens.
